Capítulo 47: The Hungriest

The shadows turned toward him in unison as the breeze passed through them, hissing and wailing as they inspected their enemy. Cedric walked out of the trees with Feather Sword in hand, and Shade soaring into the sky. 

Of course, the shadows could not answer him. But Cedric could see the archer sprawled on the ground, bleeding as he looked at him with confusion. "Who… are you?" 

"You wouldn't know me," answered Cedric as the shadows advanced toward him, his sword turning into a whip. "But I don't like this cowardly fighting style of this summoner. I know you can hear me." 

The shadows paused for a second before the Shadow Knight of the group began chuckling. A hollow voice escaped its formless mouth as it gaped open. "You are late, Marked One. Your friends have already been swallowed by shadows."
