And as Arren was thinking about this, of course, his father had also pondered it. The Duke held Arren's hand tightly; his brows had long since become furrowed, and he had a dark expression. Unlike Spade, who was still suppressing his emotions outside, the Duke never intended to hide his anger from the organization, and it was even more intense now that his son was being targeted again! 

Arren woke up from his thoughts and felt the tight hold of his father in his hand. He turned to look at his father, and as their eyes met, Arren immediately noticed the furious expression on his dad's face.

He was aware that not only he was worried for his safety, but that there were also other people who loved him. Arren grasped his father's hand and nodded at him. He wanted to say something to reassure his father, however, that wouldn't help the situation or the tense atmosphere.
