Eden then immediately entered his room, showered, and went to bed. He didn't really care about who this professor could be, nor what he said to escape.

He knew that she didn't come to him for that, but it was the best thing he could think of to escape from her.

He didn't really want to show Kanae when he himself was still too weak to protect him either, so it was a good thing that he said that.

And she could still come tomorrow too, so there wasn't any problem in this regard.

'You could have at least listened to what she had to say, don't you think?'

'She can just come back tomorrow as well and I will listen to her this time. And she would have stopped me if it was really important, I guess, so it can probably wait until tomorrow.'
