"I think I can burn them dry before they besiege us," Ilodyer continued, "You have to let me try."

"Alright, Baby," the man said softly, "I don't want to delay too much before seeing Frieren."

He paused for a moment before continuing, "Although our time is infinite, occasionally hurrying isn't a bad thing."

"Fine," Ilodyer muttered, rolling his eyes, "if that's what you insist."

"What should we do then?" Thurin yelled, apparently reluctant to turn back and continue cutting through the vines, which was extremely frustrating.

"In that case, let me lead the way," the man said softly.

His voice was as graceful as his movements.

He was obviously the most gentle and refined one among the three of them.

Thurin glanced at Ilodyer, perhaps there was always a difference between a half-elf and a true elf, he thought.
