Capítulo 137: UNCERTAINTY

"You're the only person that I would want a kiss from." She smiled and continued, "Because you're my Hugh. And my Hugh is the only one who should also get a kiss from me, right?"

Leticia doesn't know what she was talking about but the thing is, she felt the need to make sure Hugh would know what was on her mind.

She watched as Hugh's raven eyes reflected her. There seem to be a lot of emotions that flashed through them. And she doesn't know what they are. But she was certain of something, that Hugh right now was looking at her with anxiety.

"Hugh, I'm sorry about what happened…"

Suddenly, the eyes that were looking at her seemed to be shocked at what she said.

"No, you didn't do a thing! I-I… It was that bastard's fault."

Leticia gives a 'can't help smile' towards him. And cupped his face.

"Are you alright? Did you get any injuries? Did my Hugh get hurt?"

"I'm alright. I'm fine as long as you're fine."
