Hugh was in his office and had his contracted beast roam in his territory. Since they're in the North, he can release them as part of the security of his castle.

And as always, Aquila and Henith always attached themselves to him while the three went and went to the places they always frequented and watched.

"Aren't you going to leave and do some work?" Hugh asked.

"What do you mean nya~ I'm doing work just by rolling here and letting you see how cute I am."

The corner of Hugh's lips twitches with the shamelessness of his contracted spirit.

"And how can rolling and messing with my work help me?! You're supposed to roam in my palace and look at every nook and cranny."

This time, Aquila answered. 

"What can we see here in the North? Squawk! It's just plain and flavorless as ever. With the snow, it looks just like a white sheet of paper, and without the snow, it just looked the same as other places."

Hugh glared at the two of them.
