Capítulo 21: Appearance
Getting close to the mirror, Kyouya saw what you would say was 'himself'. The first differences he could grasp, were his eyes. Instead of the monotonous black colour, his irises were of a bright blue that had golden features that flowed along the pupil, almost as if it were some kind of divine being.
Instead, his hair, from brown, had turned black, while at the tips, they were almost a very thin grey
which made his hair very unusual but, at the same time, had a style that, from his point of view, was not bad.
Taking into consideration his whole face, it was much more 'sculpted' as if a god had processed his body to make it 'perfect'. The same could be said for his body in general. Being used to his 170 cm, the difference of 10 cm was quite evident.
'What the hell happened when I was sleeping..?'
Touching his face, he could feel the softness of his own skin. First used to the fact that it was much rougher, due to the bruises and the lack of adequate treatments.
Even though this made him think about his past, he suddenly thought about something really important.
"Wait! If I am an Angel, that means I am a servant of God, right Devour?"
Hearing his words, Devour immediately replied
[Yes, even though you aren't really a 'servant', in a formal way, you are a servant of the God of this world]
Nodding, he added
"That means I can directly have contacts with this God. And a God has immense wisdom, so that means I can ask him what happened to my mother, is that correct?"
Without waiting even a moment, it replied
[..No, the God in this world doesn't have the knowledge you are thinking about. In fact, people of this world will think you are a reincarnated angel from a human named Kyouya. Your previous world is unknown to everyone in this world as they know the 'Earth' just of this Universe]
Its words, made him sigh as he clenched his fists.
"So, that means I'll never know how is my mother..? If it's like that, what the point of living another plain life?"
At his words, Ruphiel replied
[..I actually have information regarding you, and your relatives. Your mother was a poor soul who got rewarded by the Wheel, but she chose to rest as a soul instead of choosing to leave again without her memories]
Her words brought him to furrow his brows.
"So that means she got to choose her own fate..but why she didn't ask to get to see me? I..still have things I want to tell her!"
Asking this, Ruphiel replied
[..You know that I have no power over the Wheel and others, right? All I can do is give you information and talk with you a bit, I don't know something as complicated as your mothers' choice. The Wheel just gave me information enough for me to make you understand you have to live your fate without worrying about the past]
Knowing she was right, Kyouya sighed as he, at least, knew that his mother was finally resting in peace...
"So, that means you have information regarding why I killed myself, why you said to me that you didn't know?"
At his words, Ruphiel just sighed as well while adding
[For now, complete the Quest, after that, I will explain some other things to you..okay?]
Knowing that he could give him what he wanted, Kyouya nodded as he stared at the door at the end of the room.
