Zark Arnold Morales was once a programming prodigy, a self-taught coder who quickly mastered languages like Python, C++, and JavaScript. By the time he reached the prestigious Lumenis Institute of Technology, Zark had already earned a reputation for his exceptional talent in cybersecurity. He seemed destined for greatness, with a bright future in the tech world ahead of him.

But tragedy shattered his promising life. His mother's death from illness and his father's murder over unpaid medical debts left Zark alone and grief-stricken. Forced to abandon his studies, he was left scrambling to survive, taking on freelance tech jobs just to keep a roof over his head. Gone were the ambitions that once drove him—now, his focus was simply to make it through each day.

In a desperate bid to cover his rent, Zark hacked into what he thought was an anonymous cryptocurrency wallet, only to discover that it belonged to Jason Cheng, a powerful and ruthless leader of the Chinese mafia. Captured and tortured by Cheng’s men, Zark was coerced into making a dangerous deal: hack into the secure system of Cheng's rival mafia, or face certain death.

Zark successfully executed the hack, but he knew that completing the job wouldn't be enough to earn his freedom. With Jason's men keeping him on a tight leash, Zark plotted his escape. Against the odds, he fled to the city’s squatter areas, a place where the desperate and forgotten lived outside the reach of law and order.

There, Zark stumbled upon an underground network of renegade hackers, each with their own story of oppression and anger toward the corrupt government. At the same time, the government has begun to crack down on the hacker group, viewing them as a serious threat. Caught between two powerful forces, Zark must decide whether to keep running or to fight back with the skills that once made him a legend.
