The third man smiled. "Nice try. You think you can put up an act that you don't care about these people? Especially the cops. You are on the same team, right? Look, that one over there is all dying already."

Mingshen glanced at Lim and shrugged. "He won't survive till all this wraps up anyway."

Jia's gaze darkened with a touch of anger. "Don't you dare say that, Mingshen. Lim won't die."

He yawned. "Is he immortal? He gets stabbed, he bleeds and he dies. He won't survive, nor do I care. His dying expression is irking me immensely to be honest. So I will do him a favor and end his suffering right away."

From inside his doctor's coat, he took out a syringe and a small vial with transparent liquid. He infused the syringe with the liquid and tapped on its needle.

The second man pointed his dagger at him. "No way you are injecting anything into him. For all we know, you might be helping him."
