Her three guy friends responded with scornful chortles. "That wuss sheep? He is the most pathetic one in the group. You have seen a dog's collar, right? That's how he keeps following her."

"The only thing remaining for him to do is bark woof woof!" One of them rolled in laughter.

Li Beiye asked, "Why did you specifically ask about Jinping now?"

"There have been some developments," he said, reading Jia's message.

"Pray tell."

It was evident that Li Beiye was having the best time of her life.

She understood his pause and smiled. "You are not going to get information about Anhe or her group from anybody else in this college. Nobody will talk to you about her. Remember Miss. Chiang's furtiveness to answer you? It will be part two, three, four all over again."
