Capítulo 88: Play dead

"Think about it, Luca! You only have me to stop him!! I will wait for you, Luca!"

Luca turned around as she held the door open, watching Georgina scream maniacally until the natural beauty she had disappeared without a trace. All that she could see was a madwoman, desperate and intoxicated with madness. 

'Pity.'

SLAM!

And the screams and laughs were gone the moment Luca slammed the door closed. A deep exhale slipped past her lips, her expression stern, without much emotion. 

"Shit," rolled out of her tongue, locking the door and then sprinting through the hallway. 

Her heart thudded against her chest, running back to where she came from as if her life depended on it. Still, Luca was level-headed enough despite the rush, as she carefully placed the keys where she found them and closed the secret passage. She made she didn't leave any trace behind and hoped deep in her heart she didn't.
