Lucien aimlessly walked the dark streets of Elysium as he saw the path in his mind's eye diverge. The seed inside him was a choice for revenge but he had two targets in mind, Traxdart and the entity that had him backed against a wall. Half of him wanted to immediately run to Rowan who knew far more than he did, the other half desired a few days of solitude for introspection. One hour ago, Lucien had had a limitless future filled with possibilities. Now, he had the knowledge of his impending death and complete erasure from existence- but only if the entity kept its word to him.
(Red, I need you more than I have ever needed you.)
(Please, Red.)
(Remember the time I thought we were gonna die together? You told me not to say weird shit. You wanted to hear the words from your lover...)
Lucien sighed loudly. Not having any hope for an answer from Red didn't keep the disappointment at bay.
Hello. Sporadic updates so I can give this novel an end. it's kinda sad I had to cut straight to the end but I think it's better than leaving it hanging.
