"So you have come to take my life, death" I muttered as I looked at the mirror beside my bedside reflecting on myself
An old bedridden body covered with battle wounds, sunken cheeks, and white hairs covering all of my head
Looking back on my life, I've ignored all the pleasures in life in pursuit of perfecting the blade, reading countless techniques I have almost perfected my craft
But what is a perfect technique when you can't even use it yourself, if only I had slowed down and experienced the pleasure of tasting a new tea or enjoying myself with my favorite dish I would not leave this many regrets behind
I felt strength leaving my body rapidly as my vision got blurry
"Oh god of death, take pity on my miserable body and take my soul painlessly" I prayed to an empty room, and soon my vision turned completely black
After that day, people around the world panicked as the sword god disappeared from the face of the planet
The sword goddess more commonly called her enemy, the demon goddess. she was merciless on the battlefield taking life only seconds after her blade set on her next prey
Some believed that her old age had gotten a hold of her, but some firmly believed she would come back

Floating in a space there was a spark of light wondering aimlessly
"Poor soul, to think they would send a mortal's soul out of the cycle of reincarnation and into this space" A calm yet majestic voice muttered
"Well if they won't use this soul, might as well use this for my entertainment" A hand suddenly came out of nowhere and grabbed the spark of light
"Now, what kind of life did you live to make them banish you out of the cycle of reincarnation"
After a moment of silence, an amused mutter could be heard
"A mortal who almost attained divinity. a powerful divinity at that, and disrupting the cycle of life, no wonder they don't want her to live again. hahaha"
"They were scared because of a measly mortal attaining godhood and overthrowing them"
"Well now, if they don't want you to be in the world they govern, why not send this soul to my world instead"
Suddenly a portal opened beside the hand, beyond the portal portrayed a lively city, a tower in the middle towering over the city
"I'll let you keep your soul-bound weapon with you, little mortal, just make sure you entertain this god of concept"
In a throwing motion, the hand launches the spark into the portal
"And let's see if you can attain divinity in this life, demi-goddess of war and bloodlust" the god amusingly muttered

In an empty shack, only one person was residing, with illustrious white hair flowing from her back, dull red eyes and a face even goddesses would be jealous of
"To think someone spared this old bone" A serene and smooth voice was heard in an empty shack
"Poor girl, to think she lived her life with impaired vision, only to die on her bed and be a vessel for my soul" Looking around everything seems like a blur making it difficult to see how close or how far things are
Closing my eyes, I felt a familiar energy and item inside my soul. my soul-bound weapon: Kirion the devourer, a black curved long blade with a sinister mist emanating from it
The effect of this blade is powerful but comes at a cost, it is ever-hungry for flesh and blood and if not satiated it will influence the mind of the wielder to go berserk killing anything with blood in their veins
Turning them into mindless beasts who crave only blood
Turning my attention to the familiar energy I instantly knew what it was, Soul energy is what I call it
The sole reason I could make Kirion is I could bind the soul of my fallen enemy into this blade making it more powerful but cursed with hearing their voices howling into my ears
Opening my eyes, I controlled the soul energy to the outside world to use for my vision
With Kirion's ever-hungry curse, I need to seal it in a bind to suppress it
After looking around I found a worn-out long string of cloth, grabbing it and the ink and feather I found on the table I started drawing signs into the cloth with the main sigils being 'suppress'
Before long, the string of cloth was covered with sigils, summoning Kirion out of my soul, the shack suddenly bore the heavy pressure of bloodlust as many screams and howls were heard emanating from the sword
I carefully wrapped Kirion with the cloth, as I continued the bloodlust and screams were suppressed, and before long the screams turned into whispers and the bloodlust could only be felt when someone touched Kirion
"Cough Cough" Looking down I saw blood coming out of my mouth and down to the ground
"It seems that this body got hurt from the bloodlust alone, I need to shield myself with my soul next time"
Returning Kirion into my soul I turned my attention to the room im currently in, the room was empty with only the necessities to live a human life, and judging from the quietness outside it seemed this girl was living in the woods
Looking around I found a map on the same desk where I found the ink, but with this impaired vision I wondered how this girl could even read the map
No matter. touching the map I use memory reading to trace back to how it was made, I saw an image of a person drawing out a map with a clear view of what the map looks like
And a city caught my attention 'Labyrinth City Orario' the place where a giant tower resides and many gods roam the city, seems interesting enough and a perfect place to gather information, with cities always garnering the attention of people
Looking down I was wearing an intricate one-piece dress with blue and black colors combining the bottom almost touching the floor
Turning my attention to the table I saw a black blindfold with my limited blurred vision
Picking it up the blindfold had an intricate design, a crescent moon in the center with a smooth feel to the cloth
Putting it on I now will only rely on my soul search for navigation, even if I use my eyes, I cannot see how close or far things are
Even in combat switching my attention from the blurry vision of my eyes and the 360-degree vision of my soul search can even make the best warrior confused
After looking around for the last time, I exited the cabin and was met with a foliage of dense forest
