Capítulo 65: An Army

Astrids POV

I felt as if I was floating. My body feeling as light as a feather. Nothing was holding me down, it was as if my body was taking the lead.

I was no longer in control.

My body was heating up quickly and I could feel this source of energy. It was a familiar feeling that I thought I had lost. I never thought I would be was several months ago... but now here I was.

My world had completely turned bright again. I had thought I was coming to terms with losing my powers. I was finally coming to accept the idea that I would have to live like any normal pure-blooded vampire.

That didn't mean I wasn't grateful that they were coming back. I always felt a part of me was missing. I truly thought my deranged father had stolen the one thing that made me who I was.

I felt the presence of people hovering over me. It was hard to open my eyes and after a few attempts, I was finally able to open them slowly. My surroundings looked a bit blurry and I blinked a few times.
