Capítulo 258: Public Execution

Nikolai was having a lot of fun torturing Haman throughout the trial. While the man himself had gone silent at the overwhelming evidence against him, he could still feel his fear wafting off him in spades, and that was more than enough for him to enjoy the justice being served for both Mineah and his kingdom.

"No! It should be me!" Eva screamed even as some of his men began restraining her. "Don't you all dare touch my son!"

"Unfortunately, the law doesn't care," Sage leered as she stood up and went to where Haman was currently sitting. "I'll do as His Majesty commands. Clearly, no one else wants to touch such a sinful individual, so I'll be the one to spare them from the disgust of doing it."

"You… You just want more power!" Eva accused. 

"I'm simply doing my duties to the crown," Sage cheekily smirked. "There's nothing wrong if I get a reward out of it."
