Capítulo 35: The training of hell

A few months have passed since I gained regeneration equal to a member of the Phenex family with Sera. During this time, we have undergone extensive resistance training to poison and pain.
How to describe it? It's the worst training I've ever had.
Let's start with the poison training. Initially, it was quite simple: we would swallow a small amount of weak poison and wait for our bodies to destroy the toxins. Each time, we increased the level gradually, and if our reaction became too severe, Scathach-sensei would give us the antidote. We still spent several hours suffering even after receiving the antidote.
For the pain training, we progressed through levels where we were beaten and tortured during these months. There was no fighting, just suffering. The only one exempt from this training is Rimuru. She works on maid skills and on possibly improving the fragment of [Divide Dividing].
Not a day has gone by without me wishing to be a slime like Rimuru.
Rimuru: "It may be a good condition for you to be a slime, but there are plenty of negative points."
Dia: "Which ones?"
Rimuru: "I never know if I'm on the brink of death when I get hurt. I have no sense of taste if I'm not in human form, and the same goes for communication and sight. If I were a normal slime, I would just act on instinct."
Dia: "So I want to be like you."
Rimuru: "I'm glad you think that, Dia-sama, but if you were like me, you wouldn't be you. Every person is special and part of us, so you must not reject who you are but rather accept it."
Dia: "It's a winning phrase, just like: 'the important thing is to participate.'"
We continue our activities. Sera has been in a bad mood recently because she has no opportunity to flirt with me. Even when we are in the bath or eating, we barely have the energy for these actions.
Sera: "It's not fair, where are the devils' rights?"
Scathach: "Only the strong have rights, and if you have enough strength to grumble, then I will have to increase the intensity of training."
Sera: "I hate you."
Scathach: "Your words do not affect me. I used to hate that you didn't hate me for three years; it is a feat in itself."
Sera: "I hope you will suffer for everything you have done to us."
Scathach: "Too bad, I don't feel pain."
She says it with an evil smile.
On my side, I was shocked because I had never seen Sera with this emotion. I wonder if there's any other side of herself she's hiding from me.
