Zeel zoomed past many buildings, each consistent with a different era, each landmass held its own architectural designs.
It was a marvel for Zeel to see since he had never seen so many cultures gathered in a single Dimension.
Zeel hypothesized that all those buildings use to be a part of different sub-dimensions, but later collapsed and were integrated into the Pocket Dimension once more.
Suddenly, Zeel moved fast causing him to slow down, and he turned his gaze westward. His gaze lingered in that direction for an extended period of time, this gave Alice enough time to orient herself and regain clarity.
Alice looked in the direction Zeel stared "What is there?"
"Not something you can go to right now. But it is familiar to me, and things that are familiar to my race are dangerous,"
Alice appeared even more intrigued, from the memories of Zeel Alice knew that nothing from his Universe would be allowed to survive.
For something to survive would be a miracle since the being that destroyed his Universe was very thorough.
Zeel soon moved very slowly, causing him to speed up. He did this to avoid Alice's keen intuition from deducing the location of what he was looking at.
They moved in one direction for about five days before stopping above a huge landmass.
Alice estimated it to be about the size of Earth's Pangea in the past.
Zeel and Alice soon encountered a massive city that covered the entire humongous continent. It was modern in nature, but also just above what humans were capable of today.
Alice's eyes flared up the moment she laid eyes on the city.
"So many souls to create this city," Alice murmured.
"Yeah, Gods give as much as they take from the mortals," Zeel whispered since even he could tell the number of lives it took to create such a large city.
Alice and Zeel continued their journey, not yet waking Elizabeth and the others who were still adjusting to the frequency of a new Dimension.
They ventured until they reached the outskirts of the massive city since they felt strange energy radiating from the area.
Arriving at a reversed pyramid that seemed to have seen better days, Zeel and Alice could feel the amazing power radiating outwards from it.
A strange liquid circulated around the body of the pyramid-like a cage to keep it under control.
"What is that substance?" Alice asked intrigued about to reach out and touch it.
"If you touch that your body will be twisted inside out," Zeel commented, extending his hand outwards as the strange liquid shot at him, and formed a small ball in his hand.
"Why does it look familiar?" Alice asked.
Not responding, Zeel simply took out a gravitational ball from his storage space. Alice saw the silver-ball that could do almost anything and it finally clicked.
"The liquid you see is simply 'Liquid Gravity'," Zeel murmured as the liquid returned to circulating around the reverse pyramid.
"Is it not valuable?" Alice asked stunned that Zeel, the Multiversal Hoarder, did not keep it.
Zeel looked at Alice strangely since these were the type of dumb questions he expected from Elizabeth.
"Gravity is all around us. Would you pay more for a liquid hotdog in comparison to the solid one?" Zeel asked quizzically.
Alice blushed, she had not really used Zeel's memories due to the silent war happening between them at the moment. His sarcastic replies reminded her of just how much more advanced Zeel's knowledge was.
"Quite the kick huh?" Alice asked feeling the familiar energy radiating from the reverse pyramid.
"Yeah, powerful as well. Time moves faster around here. Think it's a temporal generator?" Zeel asked Alice for confirmation, though she could not actively use the nanites, it was still a part of her so information extraction was still possible.
"Why would a God of Travel need a temporal generator? Time chambers are easier to build," Alice stated as she thought back to all the collapsed buildings and dead islands they passed by when traveling here "Was he trying to reverse time to correct whatever damages were done to his dimension?"
"No! A God of Travel is protected through all journeys, even if he traveled through time itself. I don't know but it feels as if he was growing something here, or rather trying to get something to integrate faster," Zeel said which incited a realization in both himself and Alice.
"He was trying to get his divine-core to merge with his descendants as quickly as possible," They both said simultaneously, both smiling foolishly as they looked into the other's eyes.
Alice smiled because she could finally see things as they are since her integration with her divinity, and Zeel, at seeing Alice's thought patterns had matured somewhat.
Elizabeth and the others began to stir awake.
Zeel waved his hand materializing different silver balls from his storage dimension that later formed into three stasis pods that captured David, Millie, and Griffin.
"What's changed?" Elizabeth asked a bit groggy from the earlier feeling of falling, then moving slow and fast at the same time.
"We have a Temporal Engine, so Alice and I can integrate with our divine sparks earlier. I also figured a way to draw all jumpers here, more like force them though," Zeel mentioned feeling the components scattered throughout the massive city.
Elizabeth shrugged and asked, "How?"
She knew the difficulty of forcefully generating spatial transfers without the forbidden knowledge locked away inside the cube.
"Every jump they do will end right here, I can fashion a kind of wormhole beacon, and make it unidirectional, so whenever they jump even if it's for the first time they come here, into stasis pod.
When I reach a suitable number of them, I'll extract the divine spark and we'll leave this universe, they get home though with weakened abilities and we get to Mjump without draining planets dry when our evolution in Godhood reaches a certain level.
Also, I feel a bit weird about using Lorien's energy to perform Mjumps – never know when cosmic forces will collect a debt,"
Elizabeth thought for a while before nodding "But how can we build a wormhole beacon without forbidden knowledge? I mean you sealed away the tech for a reason right?"
Zeel shrugged "We don't need it since Hermes was already building one, the materials are all around us… this dimension has different rules so it will be easier,"
With that Zeel, Alice, and Elizabeth spent the next year exploring the Pocket Dimension and working on their respective projects.
Needless to say, there were treasures all around the dimension: Crystallized Space Travellers, Rare metals, and Rare Plants.
Elizabeth would alternate between assisting Alice and exploring like an Adventurer. She was obsessed with the thought of being a Medieval Warrior of honor and integrity.
Sadly, during the night Zeel would remind her of the 'honor' she possessed by drilling her through multiple holes from multiple positions.
The group stumbled upon a rare plant that could extend the lifespan of a regular human by 100 years or more, Alice began studying the properties and found a way to replicate it.
Zeel grimaced when Alice and Elizabeth turned the plant enzyme into a skin nourishment cream and tablet that extended their lifespans and also nourished their skins.
It had always been a concern of what would happen to Elizabeth while Zeel and Alice integrated their respective divine sparks for a hundred years or more.
Now, she could be their guard and not age a single day, though Zeel still suggested she enter the stasis pod as well.
Zeel had been working on a wormhole beacon that would force anyone who jumped to be pulled into the Pocket Dimension, where a stasis pod would be awaiting them.
After one year of hard work, his task was finally completed and he turned it on almost immediately.
Though what was seemingly one year for everyone else, was approximately three years near the temporal engine that made time move faster.
Jumpers started popping up one by one as another two years passed by.
They all appeared and were immediately pulled into stasis pods, struggling a bit before eventually falling asleep.
The total number of jumpers was just shy of 10,000 people.
Beginning the extraction process, Zeel used the God-Syphon to connect each pod individually until the crystal in his hand turned into a cloudy swirling energy source like that of wormholes, and in the center between the two wormholes, time moved much, much slower than it should, with vague hints of bluish transparent lightning apparent ever so often.
"That looks really weird!" Alice said a bit concerned about what exactly the divinity of The God of Travel actually was.
A sentiment shared by both Zeel and Elizabeth, the divine spark extracted from the collective jumpers seemed to have been altered so much that it became an entirely different divinity from what Hermes possessed.
Then it hit him, the reason why a God would be so gracious as to give his descendants his divinity.
He and Alice had figured that Hermes was using his descendant for a nefarious purpose but couldn't find the final piece of the puzzle until now.
"Haha, we would have been fucked if that fucker was still alive," Elizabeth said after reading Zeel's intentions and memories.
"A divinity is usually influenced by personality for those who Ascend. Gods give blessings to share their power, allowing it to become more refined so when the blessed person dies, it returns to them with an extra kick to it.
Hermes was trying to evolve his divinity in a taboo way: giving it away to his descendants making them grow it, alter it for a couple of thousand years and then take it back, during the process killing them all," Alice said a bit shocked by the viciousness of a god, though something inside her told her that everything was as it should be.
"Yeah, and we would have been the ones to suffer had he still been here, after all, he was at least at the New God stage if he was able to perform this taboo way of gaining power.
Sadly, something or someone entered his dimension while he was weakened and killed him, since he dispersed his divinity he couldn't even fight back," Zeel said as they all became aware of just how heinous and power-hungry the gods were "Well, he still had a trump card that fucked over whichever Being was stupid enough to ambush him judging from the dilapidated state of this dimension,"
The Dimension looked as if it had bent the space within itself, and further scrambled time and space within certain areas.
Alice stared at the stasis pods and felt pleased "At the very least we saved these people. Their power would soon grow beyond what their bodies could handle,"
Then Alice proceeded to walk among the pods with a blade in her hand, slaughtering those whose sin had tipped the scales of her judgment.
By the time she was finished, the initial 9,000+ were now a couple of hundred people less.
