Five months later.
A gentle spring breeze swept through, carrying the scent of blossoming flowers across the vast lawn of the Aster Manor. There, a beautiful and grand castle made entirely of pink and white rose petals stood tall, surrounded by an endless expanse of green grass.
The magnificent castle was constructed from clusters of pink and white roses intertwined with green vines. Around the castle, various other roses were scattered, creating a pathway of flowers that seemed to lead to the castle as if welcoming those about to arrive.
The wedding officiant stood beneath the pink and white flower wall, gazing into the distance with palpable excitement. "Please welcome the two brides."
Wen Yixin smiled softly as she extended her hand towards Qin Ruan, her eyes shining like stars. "Ruan Ruan."
Qin Ruan returned her smile, gently placing her hand in Wen Yixin's, holding on tightly.
Wen Yixin's smile deepened as she warmly clasped Qin Ruan's hand. "Let's go."
"Okay." Qin Ruan nodded with a smile, the veil draped over her shoulders swaying slightly as she moved.
Hand in hand, they stepped forward, entering the grand archway woven from roses and vines. The long train of their wedding dresses trailed gracefully behind them.
As they crossed the threshold of the archway, a shower of pink and white rose petals began to fall from the rose-covered ceiling above, gently raining down on the two brides. The petals landed softly on their wedding dresses before slowly slipping off.
Qin Ruan looked up at the falling petals, unable to resist reaching out to catch a few. The petals lingered briefly in her hand before drifting away with the breeze.
When they reached the main stage and stopped in front of the officiant, the dreamy rain of rose petals gradually came to an end.
The ceremony that followed was simple yet solemn, with vows exchanged and rings placed on each other's fingers.
As soon as the rings were exchanged, a cheerful shout rose from the guests. "Kiss! Kiss!"
Wen Yixin turned her gaze toward the crowd and saw that Wen Miaoling was leading the chant.
Encouraged by Wen Miaoling, the other guests quickly joined in.
Wen Yixin chuckled, glancing at Qin Ruan, who was also smiling. "Ruan Ruan."
Qin Ruan's eyes sparkled with laughter. "Sister."
She stood on her tiptoes and planted a quick kiss on Wen Yixin's lips, pulling back with a bright smile.
A wave of applause and cheers erupted from the guests.
Wen Yixin licked her lips, unable to suppress a smile. The next moment, she leaned in to capture Qin Ruan's lips in a deeper kiss.
The cheers and applause grew even louder.
Watching the scene, Wen Miaoling's eyes glowed with happiness. "So beautiful."
"I hope they will always be this happy."
Wen Yixin's older brother, Wen Yiheng, nodded slowly in agreement. "They will be."
Wen Yixin's grandmother beamed with joy, her eyes crinkling with delight. "This is a wonderful wedding."
"Both of them are so good together."
"I've gained another granddaughter." She glanced over at Wen Yixin's grandfather, who was sitting nearby with a stern expression, and let out a light chuckle. "Why did you even come if you were going to look like that?"
Grandfather Wen: …
What did I do? I'm just used to being serious.
He looked over at his wife, his usual stern expression softening slightly. When he turned his gaze back to Wen Yixin and Qin Ruan, though he didn't smile, his brows did relax a little.
Wen Miaoling noticed this and couldn't help but giggle to herself, already planning to share this little moment with her cousin after the wedding.
…
That evening, after a long day, Wen Yixin and Qin Ruan finally returned home, collapsing together on the couch.
Their eyes met, and they exchanged a tired but contented smile.
Wen Yixin was the first to speak. "Are you tired?"
Qin Ruan shook her head slightly. "I'm okay, just a bit tired from standing for so long."
"What about you, Sister?"
Wen Yixin smiled. "My feet are a bit sore too."
Qin Ruan thought for a moment and suggested, "Sister, how about we soak our feet together later?"
Wen Yixin chuckled and shook her head. "Soaking our feet is nice, but how about we just take a bath together?"
As she spoke, Wen Yixin shifted closer to Qin Ruan on the couch, her gaze softening as she asked, "By the way, Ruan Ruan, have you thought about changing the way you address me?"
Though she loved hearing "Sister," sometimes she wanted to hear something else.
Qin Ruan blinked in confusion, unsure of what she meant. "Change how I address you?"
Wen Yixin laughed softly, twirling a strand of Qin Ruan's hair around her finger. "For example…"
She leaned in close, her lips brushing against Qin Ruan's ear as she whispered, "How about 'Wife'?"
"Would you like to take a bath together, my wife?"
Qin Ruan froze for a moment, her ears turning a deep shade of red as her eyelashes fluttered faster than usual.
Her lips parted slightly, and she shyly whispered, "Wife…"
Wen Yixin chuckled warmly, softly replying, "I'm here."
In the weeks following their wedding, Wen Yixin and Qin Ruan spent almost every day together, either going out to enjoy themselves or staying at home to watch movies or cook.
They also occasionally visited local tea houses to relax.
One day, after finishing a dance practice in their home studio, Wen Yixin found herself covered in a light sheen of sweat. She bent down to turn off the music and, as she straightened up, felt something soft touch her forehead.
It was Qin Ruan, gently wiping the sweat from her brow.
Wen Yixin smiled and let her continue.
After finishing with her forehead, Qin Ruan folded the towel and used a clean spot to wipe the sweat from Wen Yixin's neck.
The coolness of the towel was refreshing, and Wen Yixin couldn't help but close her eyes in contentment.
Noticing this, Qin Ruan paused for a moment, a small smile curving her lips.
After a while, when the cool towel was finally taken away, Wen Yixin slowly opened her eyes.
She was immediately greeted by the sight of Qin Ruan in her arms.
"Sister." Qin Ruan wrapped her arms around Wen Yixin, holding her close.
Wen Yixin couldn't help but laugh. "I'm all sweaty. Aren't you afraid I'll smell?"
Qin Ruan shook her head without hesitation. "Not at all."
"And you don't smell bad, Sister. You still smell sweet." A little sweat was nothing compared to the intimacy they had shared before, something Qin Ruan had become quite accustomed to.
With that thought in mind, Qin Ruan licked her lips and pressed a kiss to Wen Yixin's pale neck, leaving a trail of red marks in her wake.
As time passed and their emotions deepened, Wen Yixin found herself pressing Qin Ruan even closer, urging her to stay close.
In the heat of the moment, Wen Yixin found herself calling out softly, "Ruan Ruan…"
Her voice was laced with desire, sending a flush of warmth through Qin Ruan, whose ears turned red.
Overwhelmed by her emotions, Qin Ruan gently bit the soft skin of Wen Yixin's neck, her fingers tracing delicate patterns down her back. As she reached the small of her back, she whispered tenderly, "Sister, I love you so much."
You belong to me in this lifetime.
Wen Yixin lifted Qin Ruan's face, her gaze intense with affection as she studied her features. Her brows arched slightly, her voice soft as she murmured, "Ruan Ruan…"
Qin Ruan smiled, her eyes brimming with love. "Sister."
"I love you."
Wen Yixin's eyes sparkled with warmth as she leaned in for a kiss. "I love you too, Softie." Softie was another name for Ruan Ruan, a name that was hers alone to cherish.
