Capítulo 1: The Void

'Man, this sucks.'

An all-encompassing darkness that never seemed to end. And here I was floating, laying, falling?

Questions for later. I knew I was dead, wasn't heroic saving somebody from being hit by a car, or a mugging/robbery. It was at work actually, construction on a new building. I was on the upper scaffolding when I slipped and the harnesses, I was wearing broke. I'm sure you heard lots about what happens when you're about to die, life flashing before your eyes and all that. The only thing that flashed through my mind was how sad my mom would be.

There was pain but it was only for a moment then I blinked, and I was here. I had a lot of time to think while I was here, or I think it was a lot of time. Thinking about my family that I left behind, about the things I wanted to do like getting a house starting a family of my own and all that. Of course, I think about getting isakia'd into another world and getting something like a system. But alas nothing like that has happened and I don't think id wont it to either, while I was young when I died, I couldn't think of a life without my family. All that being said for now I'll just...float?

It felt like an eternity had passed but it could have been seconds for all I knew until it happened. This unbelievable pressure hit me like a freight train, I was being watched but I couldn't see any one or anything. This pressure wasn't hostile but it wasn't welcoming either, it was just there.

This entity didn't do or say anything it seemed content just...watching. I thought about saying something but my body? Was frozen out of fear or shock I couldn't tell you.

In a blink of an eye the pressure disappeared , and I was no longer in the void.
