"I'm sorry." She lowered her head at last, though her tone was stern and unlike her usual softness. "I should have known from my place that I am nothing more than just an object of pleasure."

It was odd how he realized the gravity of his words when they finally came from Eternity herself.

"Eternity, I'm—"

"You're right," she said. "I was created just to give you pleasure, nothing more. I have no right to speak. I have no right to give my opinion. I was created to serve you and nothing more."

"No, Eternity…" He tried to speak now that he had finally snapped out of his anger. But for some reason, he didn't know how to defend himself since he didn't know what had gotten to him.

"I should be thankful to you." Eternity agreed with him, though it sounded quite bitter. "You are treating me with respect. I'm sorry that I acted as if it wasn't enough. Please forgive me, Evan."

She finally raised her head, looking at him eye-to-eye.
