"I'll be taking my leave, Sir Holz," Eternity announced, lowering her head as a sign of respect.

"Wait!" Evan called out. 

Just as she was about to turn her heels and head toward the door, Evan grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her to his lap.

"Sir Holz!" She exclaimed in a high-pitched voice, her back colliding on the wide expanse of Evan's chest with a soft 'thud'.

"Shhh," Evan hushed her as he encircled his arms around her waist, pulling her closer than what was appropriate between a secretary and her boss. "We don't want them to hear us, do we?"

Upon hearing his words, a blush crept on Eternity's cheeks, and she suddenly felt a weird hot sensation all over her body.

"Are we…?" she whispered, her breath hitching in excitement as she could already guess where this was going.
