“I already told you, do not touch her.” Evan grabbed Chloe’s wrist and dragged her inside with no kindness.

When they reached the room, Evan pushed her on the bed and stared at her waiting for a plausible answer.

“What are you trying to do, Chloe? What the f*ck were you doing with Ryan outside?” he asked angrily once Chloe didn’t say a word.

“I just stumbled and he helped me! Why did you punch him? Are you insane?” Chloe got up from the bed but she was too dizzy to do it so she sat for a while.

“That’s not what I saw! He was almost kissing you!” he yelled the last sentence.

“What kind of girl do you think I am, Evan? I’m not Jill!” Chloe challenged him with a glance.
