Capítulo 44: The Real Me

Tyler's POV

We had our meetings with the Azure's mayor and representatives of the other municipalities, together with the resort and restaurant owners and their representatives all over the island. I wanted to call Ara, but the meeting dragged on forever, and I couldn't believe I couldn't reply to her text message; and I know she seldom texts me first since I always initiate our conversation.

"Where is Arabella, Tyler?" My father asked after our meeting, and I heavily sighed as I looked at my dad. I know he never interfered with my love life, but after what happened to Emily and me, he always asked me if I had a new girlfriend. When I brought Arabella as my date for my parents' wedding anniversary, I could see the happiness on my father's face.

"I almost messed up, dad, but I felt glad I could win her back," I responded.
