When Eira woke up, she felt like someone pounded her head with a hammer. "Master, how long have I been out?"
"2 days." Athena said indifferently.
"Oh, better than I thought. I'm starving." With that said, she ran to the dining room where she saw everyone. "Good morning!" Without waiting for anyone, she attacked her food like a ravenous wolf. In less than 3 minutes, she finished her breakfast.
"Seconds please!" She shouted out to the maids who seemed a bit dazed. The just couldn't believe that this was the little demon lord that defeated Princess Crystal and Prince Luke in one hit each. She seemed like she was like a normal 10 year old. They couldn't fit that tyranical figure covered in soot standing in the arena with this little girl stuffing her cheeks like a chipmunk.
Eira notice that the atmosphere seemed a little off. "What's wrong?"
Everyone's lips twitched. Eira's Grandmother spoke up first. "How are you... feeling?"
"Hungry."
"So... you aren't mad anymore?" Eira's mother asked cautiously. She had never seen her daughter act like that before. Even though she knew that her daughter would never hurt her, she was still frightened.
"Mad? I was never mad. The lightning tribulation put alot of excess energy into my body and it couldn't store it into my dantian so it was placed into my meridians. I had to find a way to release the excess energy and using my aura wasn't enough so I needed a target to hit and luckily, my 2 sparing partners were there to help me out so thank you." Eira said nonchalantly.
"..."
She wasn't mad!
What would she be like if she was mad?
Everyone shuddered as they thought about it.
"Oh, I also have to stabilize my cultivation. After that, I still have energy inside of my meridians so I will refine it and try to break through to the Houtian realm. It will probably take around 10 months to do this." Eira told everyone her situation and everyone agreed.
"Oh Eira, Feng Yue said that she is coming over today so don't close up just yet." Lumi said.
Eira nodded and went towards the garden. She took out her spear and began to practice with it. After practicing for 1 hour, she notice a person walking towards her from the side. She turned around and smile. "Feng Yue, you came!"
"Eira? How did you get so tall?" Feng Yue felt like her friend was incredible. She always had a sense of mystery to herself. When she saw her 3 days ago, Eira was an inch shorter than her but now, she seems almost a whole head taller than her. Now she give off the feeling of a big sister. Feng Yue thought this was weird but went with it.
"Since you are my friend Feng Yue, I will tell you my secret but in exchange, tell me your secret." Eira thought this was fair. Feng Yue nodded.
"Tell me yours first." Eira said
"Well... I want to leave the the Ancient Phoenix Clan..." Feng Yue sighed. "In 2 years, I will have my opportunity to do so. I just need someone to recognize my talent from the Upper Realms."
Eira look at her once glowing and vibrant figure turning dark and somber and sighed. She patted her on her shoulder. "You'll have your wish fulfilled. We can't choose where we are born but we choose if we want to leave or not. Now let me tell you my secret. You know how my dad was a human, right?" Feng Yue nodded. "Well, you see... my dad wasn't completely human. He actually had the blood of the Primal God race flowing through him. This is also why I am so tall. Its my bloodline awakening." Eira trusted Feng Yue alot. She is her first friend and she will do anything to help her friend if she need it.
"The Primal God Race?" Feng Yue had certainly heard of this race. This most powerful race that weakened significantly and split off towards different corners of the galaxy.
"Yep, I am more primal god than human right now and I might even be more primal god than dragon." Eira said while laughing. Feng Yue was fascinated with Eira. She was unlike anyone she had met before. The people of the Ancient Phoenix clan are either despicable people of they excessively flatter her. Eira treats her like a person instead of a doll. She felt that becoming friends with Eira was the best decision she made.
While they were talking to eachother, Lumi and Crystal were watching them from afar.
Lumi smiled at the scene in front of her. She used to worry about Eira brcause she never attempted to make friends within the dragon clan. But now that she knows Feng Yue, she is lowering her barriers and forging a bond with another person. This made her feel extremely blessed.
Feng Yue and Eira hung out till late afternoon. "It's getting late. If I don't hurry back, Uncle Yan might start worrying."
"Okay, I'll walk you back." Eira said. She notified everyone in the courtyart that she was walking Feng Yue back to the Ancient Phoenix clan. They then departed from Dragon Palace.
Around 40 minutes later, the arrived at the Ancient Phoenix Clan. When they got there, the atmosphere wasn't good. Eira decided to walk in with Feng Yue. When they got inside, Eira saw someone she didn't feel like dealing with right now.
It was Feng Yu. After stewing in his hatred for 3 days, he began to hate Eira more. "Oh... if it isn't the half breed..." He then saw that Feng Yue was behind Eira and went forward. "Yue'er, your finally back. Get away from this half breed from the dragon clan. She isn't even worthy to stand beside you."
When Eira saw the expression in his eyes, she narrowed her eyes and spoke clearly. "Feng Yu! Good dogs don't block the way! Scram!" Eira has had enough of this fool. He always provokes her just because of her origins.
"I am in my Phoenix clan territory, not your Dragon clan territory. I can step wherever I damn well please." Eira lifted her hand to slap this idiot but saw Senior Yan, who is his father, show up. She snorted and said in a voice that everyone in the Phoenix clan could hear. "If your father weren't a good man, I wouldn't worry about your petty revenge and bury in the dirt myself. You are completely unworthy of have such a good father." After she said this she turned around and left.
When Feng Yan saw who it was that was saying this and who she was reprimanding, he felt embarrassed for having such a 'great' son.
"Feng Yu, come roll over here for me!" Feng Yan was furious. If word got out that his son was reprimanded by someone younger than him, he would lose all face. Feng Yu jumped like he about to leave his body and turned around to see a dark face with storm clouds in it. He walked over reluctantly while gritting his teeth. "Didn't I tell you to apologize to Eira the next time you see her? Why did she storm off like that just now? Matter of fact, you don't have to tell me. I already know why stormed off. She was already giving me face by not killing you when you sneak attacked her in the Weapon Pavilion. Now that she is in our territory, you want to antagonize her? Let me tell you, she doesn't give a damn about our Phoenix clan, do you really think that she won't dare to kill you inside of the clan territory? If it wasn't for the fact that she was friends with Feng Yue, you would have died in at least hundreds of ways! She is a very decisive girl. If you keep poking her reverse scales, she will kill you without hesitation. I am trying to save your life when I say all of this. Just... stop messing with her." Not being being bothered to keep talking, Feng Yan turns around and walks back to his house.
Feng Yu heard all of the words he said but rejected them in his mind as his only thought was that He and Eira could not exist together in this world.
After Eira made it back to her home, she immediately closed up and calmed down her state of mind using a Heart sutra that Athena taught her. After clearing her mind of all problems, she immediately worked on stabilizing the essence in her dantian. This went on for 2 and a half months. Next, she planned on absorbing energy until she breaks through.
After a week and 2 days, Eira broke through to the 7th stage of Foundation building and had a very stable cultivation. Her essence pool was becoming purer each and every day. 1 month and 10 days later, she reached the 8 stage of the foundation building realm. 2 months later, she reached the peak of foundation building.
At this point, she was close to being able to condense the qi in her dantian and become a Houtian realm martial artist. She stabilized her cultivation and continued to absorb the energy inside of her body. Once she reached the critical point, she began to refine the qi inside of her dantian. Just 3 months later, she broke through and became a Houtain martial artist.
After breaking through, she began to consolidate her cultivation. 3 months after, she reached the peak of the 1st stage of Houtian and advanced to the 2nd stage without any bottlenecks. After 3 more months she reached the peak of the 2nd stages of Houtian and began to comprehend laws.
Her concept of Thunder had already reached the peak of the 3rd stage and has finally touched the boundary of the 4th stage:Form. She can control the shape of her lightning to a certain degree.
Her concept of wind had reached the point where she can easily shift her body in midair. She can even enhance her dexterity.
Eira spent 7 months on her understanding of the universe. and had finally reached the second stage of the concept of space. With this, she can further alter space around her and travel very quickly. It was on this day that she broke through to the 3rd stage of Houtian and exited closed door cultivation.
Eira was now 12 years old. While in closed door cultivation, she grew 3 inches taller and her figure had begun to fill out. She was now taller than the average 12 year old in the dragon clan by a head. Her face had started to lose its baby fat and become more dignified. If she were to compare to a human, She would look like a very tall teenage girl.
Her spear play had also reached the elementary stage of the mastery realm. She was now faster and more accurate with her spear.
When she stepped out, the first person she met was her mother. "Mother!"
"Eira? Your finally out of closed door cultivation?" Lumi was very happy to see her daughter again. She used her sense to chack her cultivation and see her progress. "3rd stage Houtian!" She wanted to pat her on the head but she notice that her daughter was taller than her. "Why are you growing so much? I miss when you were small and cute like a doll." Eira's lips twitched as she held herself from laughing at her mother's feigned anger.
"Mother, aren't I still cute?" Eira asked.
"Nope, you've turned into a beauty. Almost all of your baby fat is gone. Its like you've become a grown up." Eira's mother was reluctant to stop pinching her daughter's cheek but she didn't want to ruin her face so she kept her hands off. Tears formed in her mother's eyes and Eira felt wronged but she conceded.
After lowering herself for her mother, she walked through the garden with her mother and talked about random things. While they were walking, they spotted a figure walking towards them.
"Feng Yue? Oh, you are also at 3rd stage Houtian? That's great!" Eira was very excited to see her friend. While she was in closed door cultivation, she wanted to go out many times but held back because she knew that if she did that now, it would affect her future and limit her progress.
Feng Yue laughed. "Looks like Big Sister is now taller. It really makes one depressed."
Eira chuckled bitterly. They continued to chat after sitting down by the man made pond on the grass. Eira's mother watched from afar and felt content.
This was her life style for the next 2 months. After spending so long in cultivation, Eira just wanted to relax before the tournament. She warmed up with her spear everyday in the garden.
Before they knew it, it was the day of the Youth Martial Meeting.
