Leaving Sherri in charge of the store, Tansy decided it was time for some lunch. All morning, she struggled to concentrate on anything business related, her mind full of Dean Nettleton. Avoiding Melinda’s Bakery, she decided to pop into Hampton’s for a quick bite, and hopefully, some peace to settle her mind. Staring at a bowl of minestrone, she allowed her thoughts to roam.
Sherri found nothing on the Obsidian Brotherhood online which made sense. After all, a secret organization wasn’t exactly secret if you could Google it. That wasn’t the part that worried Tansy, however. The fact that they couldn’t find anything on Dean Nettleton on the other hand, that bothered her. There should have been something. Social media accounts. A business profile perhaps. Public records. However, they found nothing. Somehow, Dean had avoided leaving a fingerprint on the web which usually meant something wasn’t above board in a person’s life.
