Capítulo 166: The remorse and regret

An hour later, Anastasia came out, discussing something with Henry.

Henry's demeanor was less tense than it had been. He grinned at Sebastian, who was approaching them.

"Madam is okay now, Mr. Hubbard. She will be moved to the ward soon."

He wanted to take credit now that Maria was no longer in danger. He had ignored the fact that he had delegated Maria's care to Anastasia. If anything had gone wrong with the big boss' wife, he would have blamed Anastasia, and Sebastian would have taken action against her.

Sebastian's focus was on Anastasia. "Doctor… Is she okay?" he asked as if he had not heard what Dr. Henry had just said. All that was obvious in his eyes was worry.

Henry's smile disappeared. He was embarrassed and, at the same time, envious of Anastasia. He gave her a resentful look.

"She is out of danger now," replied Anastasia. "There is something I need to tell you. Please come with me."
