Capítulo 230: Missing earrings

It was late at night.

Christopher was still at the police station, listening to the officer's explanation. The more he listened to him, the more suspicious he grew. 

The cops had not found anyone who had helped Oscar. It was like only Oscar had carried out the entire thing. If his team had managed to flee, why couldn't he escape? 

Oscar seemed to have willingly surrendered himself to the guards.

"The body is badly burned, and I doubt the forensic team will be able to extract anything useful from it, but we sent it for an autopsy anyway." He reached into his drawer and pulled out a package. "These are the items discovered in the body. Check if you can identify them." 

Christopher came out of his trance and looked at the package. 

The officer noticed his hesitation. He took out the things and spread them on the table. 

There was a necklace, a ring, a bracelet, and a wristwatch. Those were all Abigail's belongings.
