Capítulo 15: Chapter 15: He is Art, Bad Art, But Still Art

Lia felt her body excrete the same feelings associated with the fight-or-flight hormones.

She did not know what to say. She did not trust herself to even attempt to speak.

Lia grabbed the back of Ryan’s head and inched her face close to him as she waited for him to meet initiation.

Ryan inched his face to hers and gently claimed her lips. The fireworks the earlier hotel kiss had ignited exploded in Lia’s head.

The kiss was slow, deliberate, and passionate. She could feel his tongue, sensually tracing the inside of her mouth. Her tongue responded, teasing and tasting the sweet nutty fragrance of the sherry he had been drinking.

She felt again the blast of feebleness, the plummeting acquiescent, the swelling tide of warmth, that left her limp and her body aching for more. It was clear that they were both floating on the same plane wave as she felt Ryan shifting his body closer to her.
