Capítulo 14: My Wife Has Me

For a moment, Mrs. Leblanc questioned if she had heard him correctly.

"But Yvonne…"

Landon didn't let her finish as he stepped forward, leaving Mrs. Leblanc confused and staring at his back.

Was that really Landon? Mrs. Leblanc wondered. He used to stay beside her daughter no matter how busy he was. He even went as far as to leave work the whole day just to accompany Yvonne to the hospital. Yet, somehow, today was different. Landon didn't even glance at Yvonne when he entered the room.

Mrs. Leblanc obviously didn't take it seriously. Landon was just being considerate of her daughter and didn't disturb her sleep. That's right. That's the only reason why he didn't. She then turned around and went to her daughter's room.

"Where's Landon?" Yvonne stared at her mother gloomily.
