Just as their discussion had started, Brother Cheng must've heard Yao Tang's name and rushed out of the room. The executives all shared a look, wondering what might have happened.

Qin Hao suppressed a groan. He should've asked for a leave ten years ago, maybe then he'd be free from this mess.

Every time he encountered Yao Tang, it seemed as if more problems were being propped up on his plate. The last thing he wanted was to pile it up even more.

With a sigh, he was just about to get into the car when Cheng Yan turned down the window.

"Go and negotiate with the other men," he called out. "Finish the paperwork and have them submitted to me."

"I..."

Qin Hao was about to say something else when the window had already closed. It was too late to respond as Cheng Yan had already driven away. He gaped at the retreating vehicle.

What the fuck was he going to do now?

Cheng Yan sent Yao Tang back to her apartment, before finally leaving.
