THE BEAST IN ME

  I shivered in the darkness, the cold was making goosebumps appear on my skin.


  low rumbles and huffs came from behind me, scaring me entirely and making me freeze. I knew the beast was there by the low huffs and sneers I could hear.


  Screaming or calling out for help was going to be futile since it was right behind me and my voice was already hoarse for trying to scream the past few minutes. The only thing to be heard was the wind and the low growl that followed next. 


  I heard it shift and felt its soft fur brush against my naked body and skin. I swallowed hard and held in my voice. 


  I was dying to scream out!.


  The more it leaned in, its warm breath touching my back the more my heart beat wildly. I forced myself to sit upright and turn to face it. 


  The Huge figure in front of me was so terrifying that I quickly tried to move away from it but its loud growl that slightly shook the ground made me halt my movements.


  "I want to liv..e," I whispered in a husky cracked voice.


  When the beast leaned in I quickly shut my eyes.


This was it, my death. It was going to cut me into pieces or slit me open.
