Capítulo 19: Training pt 3
Harvey had taken Ariel to the fight club to meet Spider. For her third night of training. ’ So are we ready Ariel?’
‘As ready as I’ll ever be.’
He nodded.
‘I’ll leave you two to it. I pick you up two hours.’
‘Sure.’
He kissed her forehead. ‘Wait for me here okay? I told Cole I’d bring you home.’
‘Okay.’
He looked at Spider. ‘You best be professional.’
‘I will.’
He smirked walking away. Closing the door behind him. Spider looked at Ariel. ‘Right we need to do some stretches first before we begin to loosen al loud those muscles.’ he looked at her. ‘You ready babe?’
‘Yeah.’
He smield and they went into the mats. ‘We’ll be using that.’ He said pointing to the large wooden block with wooden spikes coming out of it. ‘That will help you to control your punches and kicks. Once you’ve mastered it we shall put you punches and kicks together in the ring okay.’
She nodded.
They done a few stretches and she followed him once they were done. ‘I’ll show you how to use it so you don’t I just yourself then you repair what I’ve done okay.’
‘Okay.’
‘You just have to remember that you have to lunch and kick inside of the spikes or you’ll end up in hospital okay.’
‘Okay.’
He showed her how to punch and kick on the device. She watched him intensively. He looked at her. ‘Right now you try it.’
She nodded.
She walked over to it studying it.
‘Remember what I said Ariel in between the spikes.
She nodded. She took stance and began punching it high, low and in the centre then swapped to her kicking stance doing the same switching legs.
‘Right take a break and have some water before we put all of your moves together in the ring.’
‘So we’re going one on one?’
‘We are.’
She nodded as he handed the bottle of water.’ Thanks.’
He nodded and she opened the bottle gulping some down twisting the top down placing the half full water bottle down. Ready,”
She nodded.
He smirked and she followed him over to the ring climbing in under the ropes.
‘Take your stance.’
She took her stance so did he both opposite to own another. ‘Begin’
Her leg shot forward at did his. He was good. ‘Concentrate Ariel.’
She nodded and they began again their kicks were almost in sink, she side kicked him, he stumbled but jumped back up they doe a mixture of kicked and punches. They both spun into a round-house they crashes down on the floor of the ring. They looked at each other smirking jumping back up continuing to throw punches, jabs and many different types of kickers. Both berating heavily. As Harvey watched them in combat. He smiled as they continued he couldn’t believe how quick she was picking it up he though it would take months of trying to get to where she was.
He clapped. It caught them off guard their fists crashing against each other’s faces. He laughed.’ I thought you were taught never to be caught if guard?’
‘I was what the fuck Harvey?’
‘I’m sorry. You’re good babe.’
‘Thanks I guess.’
‘How long have you been there for?’
‘A while. I was enjoying the view.’
‘Next time you watch don’t fucking make a noise or I’ll punch the fuck out of you.’
‘I’m not scared of you Spider.’
‘Just remember who kicked your ass in the cage.’
‘’Fine point taken come on Ariel Cole is waiting.’
‘Oh okay.’ She said a little flustered.
‘Sorry about that Ariel I don’t usually loose focus.’
‘It’s fine. I did too.’
‘We need to go babe, I told Cole you’d be back by ten and you know how impatient Cole is.’
‘I do.’
‘We’ll see you same time tomorrow Spider.’
‘You will.’
‘Come on Babe. Later Spider.’
‘Later Harv. See you tomorrow angel.’
She smiled. ‘Night spider.’
Harvey led her out fuck he had to get rid of his raging boner it was getting worse the more time he spent woth her. Harvey and Ariel got into the car. ‘So how you learn to fight like that?’
‘A friend.’
‘And where is this friend now?’
‘I don’t know.’ She looked at him.
‘Why?’
‘I just wanted to thank him you know.’ He looked at her. ‘He done a good job Ariel. You have good fighting skills.’
‘Thanks I think.’
‘Your gonna give al other guys a bonner you know.’
She gulped. ‘I’ve never seen a girl fight like you. All of Cole’s potentials took months to train. Not you.’
‘I surprised myself. I wasn’t sure if I’d remember any of it, I mean I don’t train anymore mom and dad done think I needed it once I went to high school.’
‘Well if you ask my opinion they were dumb, you can never be to careful never know who’s out there lurking.’
She smiled. He leaned forward. ‘I don’t know about Spider. But I got a raging boner watching you. Maybe we can get you in a cage fighting. He said kissing her lips softly before he moved away.
She swallowed she hoped he wasn’t Serious. ‘Please don’t tell Cole I know how to fight.’
‘I won’t you can’t trust me babe. He said starting the engine changing gears pulling away.
