Capítulo 11: The new job
Harvey and Ariel got into the car she wasn’t sure of this at all Cole had reacted badly to this decision but had agreed nevertheless. The large guy with muscles scared her; she only could see one reason he was called spider because of his hideous tattoo. ‘It’s going to be okay I’ll be there to make sure nothing happens
Okay.’
She nodded, still nervous. He placed his hand on her knee, and squeezed it. ‘It will be okay I promise. Spider is not as everyone passive him to be he’s harmless as long as you stay on the right side. And what I’ve seen you've impressed him and that in itself is not an easy task to fill. You’ll be fine Ariel so stop being so nervous.’
She looked at him, he smiled, she returned his smile and he removed his hand for the rest of the drive down to the club. He parked up and they got out of the car.
‘Well here we are there’s no going back Ariel.’
She swallowed. He dropped his arm over her shoulder as they headed towards the club. He knocked the door twice before the door opened. ‘Argh Harv glad you see you, he's expecting you.’
He looked at Ariel and scanned her up and down.‘You must be Ariel.’
She opened her mouth, but Harvey answered. ‘Yes she is.’
He mixes opening the door. ‘The boss is in his office, he's waiting for you.’
Harvey nodeed taking her hand in his he knew well what these guys were like with new fresh they’d try and make out with them or worse.’
They made their way through the club which seemed a lot brighter and lighter in the daylight hours than being extremely dark at night when they came to the last door in the club. He knocked twice. ‘Enter.’
Harvey opened the door pushing it open leading Ariel in. Spider looked up from his desk and his scattered paperwork. ‘Agh Harv you came,and I see you brought Ariel.’
‘I did.’
‘I was beginning to think that you were having second thoughts.’
‘No my bro wasn't too pleased that I agreed to Ariel working here.’
‘I’m not a monster you know.
‘That maybe spider but this one can not be touched she is his and she has agreed to his terms so no flirting, touching or kissing.’
‘Really Harv do you really think that little of me I would jarrad my staff?’
‘No it’s just the warning my brother sent to you.’
‘Well tell your brother he had no need to worry, I’ll take good care of her.’
He nodded. ‘I’ll see you later okay I have to make sure everything is in order for tonight’s fight.’
‘Are you fighting?’
‘Yes me and Cole.’
‘Oh.’
‘I’ll be back later’
She nodded he kissed her forehead, dropping her hand out of his.
‘I’ll be back around five Spider so you best take care of her.’
‘I will now go, me and Ariel have a lot of work to do.’
‘Sure.’ He said before leaving the room.
‘Come here angel I don’t bite.’
She strode carefully over to him. ‘Please take a seat today I’d just and induction okay so I get to know you a little better then we can start on work later.’
She nodded.
‘I know you can talk angel, no need to go shy in me now.’ He looked at her. ‘So are we okay to talk?’
‘yes sir.’
‘I’m not one of your teacher's angel, call me spider or better still call me Ethan, it’s a little less scary .’
‘Okay Ethan.’
He smiled. ‘So tell me a little about yourself like what you want out of your life, what year you are in school and what your plans are when you leave.’
‘I’m in year eleven with Cole.’
He nodded.
‘I plan to go to college and do my A levels then maybe university I haven’t decided yet.’
‘Why don’t you just come and work for me here?’
‘I’m not old enough.’
‘I think I can find you a suitable job until you're old enough to work behind the bar, serving drinks or be one of the ring girls, it’s completely up to you.’
‘I’ll think about it.’ He smiled.
They continues talking for over an hour before he showed her what he wanted her to do they were still bantering and laughing as they worked he was so glad he’d chose her to work alongside him she was a breath of fresh air no wonder Cole had chose her they;d got so lost in time he hadn’t noticed it was almost five o’clock they’d been throwing sarcastic remarks at one another he smiled he felt so close,to this girl she remind him of his school days they’d laughed hysterically and he’d caught her off guard as they ran around the office laughing he grabbed her and began to tickle her god he felt so alive. She laughed loudly begging him to stop.
‘Only if you take it back.’
‘Never.’
He tickled her some more, his erection growing god he had to stop before he regretted his actions but he couldn't. She was one of a kind. He leaned forward about to kiss her neck when the door flew open harve looked at both of them, her in his arms. ‘What the hell Spider? You’re supposed to be taking care of her, not groping her.’
‘It’s not what it looks like.’
‘So what we were just messing around.’
He looked at Ariel. ‘Is this true Ariel?’
‘Yes.’ She said out of breath.’
‘My brother will kill you if you’re paying too much attention to her. I convinced him to letting her work with you don’t let this be a mistake.’
‘Chill Harv it won’t be.’
‘Good. Come on Ariel I have to get you home.’
‘I asked her to stay for the fight.’
‘I don’t think so Cole is expecting her back. Jae is watching over her tonight.’
‘Come on Harv she’s seen you fight. Let her see Cole fight too.’
‘That’s not a good idea he fights dirty and he doesn’t want her to see that side of him yet.’
‘I’m not taking in for an answer.’
‘Fine I’ll let him know.’ he huffed.
‘Good choice I’ll let the kitchen know there’ll be an extra person for dinner.’
