Capítulo 24: Chapter 24

Since the bed is big enough for the both of us, it was pretty comfortable. But we were sharing the covers! It must've been some fifteen minutes, and I was already drifting off to sleep. I felt some movement beside me. Maybe Kai is tossing around. But I was too sleepy to care.

"Marc..." I heard a whisper close to my ear. Have I started dreaming already? That is definitely Kai's voice. I don't want to dream about him when he is right beside me!

"Marc, are you asleep?" I felt a tap on my shoulder. Oh, it's happening in real life.

It surprised me how I could just sleep like the dead in a situation like this. Maybe it was the worrying and self consciousness that caused this exhaustion. Or the comfortable mattress, that could be the reason too. Pretty ironic, I'd say, that Kai couldn't sleep, and I was already in a different world.
