Capítulo 33: The Trial

  "My Lord, I have been married to my husband for thirty years now. The first time we met, he was a poor fisherman working at the port. My father was the clan elder and we were a respectable family known within the clan. 

I was pampered daughter who got all she ever wanted. That was until my path crossed with this man. For his sake, I was disowned by the members of my clan and my family. My father was a wise man. He had already seen through the man's black heart.

I was too trusting of him. Despite the warning from my people, I followed him and got married to him. Not wanting to leave me completely helpless, my father gave me some money to make due. It was this money that we used to start a bakery.

I love my husband so much. At the time, I learned all the skills that I never took into consideration to have a good life with him. At first, his love for me was pure and true. We lived together, working as a team, and built an empire from the ground.
