Lily said nothing. She let him cry. More than anyone else, she understood his pain. Not because she had a similar experience but because she felt it too.

Jibril and Lily stayed in that state for a while until he was done. When they separated, she wiped his tears off and led him to a love seat in her room.

It was late at night. Both Samia and Angelo have retired to their rooms leaving her to rest as well. Since the two have literally covered her attention during the day, Jibril took his chance now.
