Reqiel kept to his words, locking himself in his room when Sarell admitted to him that he had gotten another dinner invitation from Prince Velia, and he expected that to happen.

It was better that Reqiel didn't come along, Prince Velia wasn't pleased to see him and it was unfair to drag the introverted Angel to a place where he was unwelcome, especially as he couldn't even join their conversation.

Sarell took his usual seat, expecting Prince Velia to do the same after he took his robe off, and was startled when he came over to his chaise lounge instead, sitting beside him before propping his head on his legs.
