Lu was dog-tired after a long night of fighting the four hundred royal warriors and also black magic from lady Cyan and her father. He only wanted to cuddle with his mate peacefully, before the annoying Alpha took over again and wouldn't let him get control over his body.

More so, he didn't give a damn about what was going on with this pack and only wanted to have some alone time with his mate.

However, in Cane's absence, it was only Iris who had the full picture about what happened in the Goffa mountain. She also needed to communicate about Cane's current situation. The explanation to those warriors, who had learned about the connection between the lycan and Cane also couldn't be delayed.
