Swoosh! Audrey's black claw swung toward Dylan's face, but the child's green eyes pulsated. A tremble was sent to every other wolf's body, causing Audrey to miss and stumble. The child levitated away from her reach, and Dylan dropped to the ground in a crouch. At the second wave of the strange shockwave, Dylan's ears shot out of his head—claws forming from the dust of the ground.
