Watching her father tie the remaining animals on the back of her horse, Angeline kept her head lowered, fumbling with her hands.
"Father," She gently called breaking the silence between them. But he remained silent.
"Come on Father, talk to me, I'm sorry." Angeline kept her head lowered.
"Didn't I tell you never to say that to me? You keep saying you're sorry each time yet you repeat the same mistake over and over again." Her father said, his voice stern.
Angeline felt her heart sink.
Carrying the dog into her arms, she turned to her father and said, "Oh father, you still act like I'm that twelve year old daughter." Tears were welling up in her eyes.
"And that's because you act like that careless 12 year old. How could you run deep into the cave like that? How many times have I saved you from always missing your way? Now look what you got yourself into."
