"Father!" Angeline cried again and with another thud, she finally saw herself in a strange place.
A spring in another cave inside the mountain.
Its entrance was a narrow opening. The cave was filled with the sound of rushing water and echoes of dripping water from the ceiling. The sound of the rushing water echoed by the cave walls, creating a musical cacophony.
In the distance, birdsong can be heard, their songs reverberating through the cavernous space.
The cave itself was cold and damp, but the sound of the water and the birds was a welcome relief from the silence.
"Wow, this place is awesome," Angeline muttered under her breath and heard the echoes of her voice.
Staring up, she saw an opening where the sun sipped in giving the cave a magical glow.
"Muktuk"
Angeline turned towards the sudden sound. Behold, the dog she was struggling to get was there struggling with the net and looking for a way to escape.
