"Mom, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Ryley asked worriedly once Rena let go of her embrace.
The blond couldn't stand seeing his mother looking sad, and so his hands immediately went up to wipe the tears on Rena's cheeks.
Michael walked up to them with a concerned look. "We tried to call you but your number couldn't be reached." He said as he patted Rena's back to comfort her.
"Ry...Ryley... Your sister... Your sister is..." Rena's sobs choked her voice that she couldn't talk properly.
Hearing this, Ryley's brown eyes turned sharp in an instant. His parents must be looking for Rachel. "Mom, dad, let's move to my room first."
Once the three entered the apartment, Ryley held Rena's hand and led her to sit on the sofa. "Wait here, I'll make some tea for you."
Rena caught his arm and pleaded, "No, no... I can't drink any tea now. I can't keep calm if I can't find your sister..."
