Daemon had to admit, he almost admired how uncaring the woman before him appeared at the sight of the man that worked for her Thralgor Spy Guild.

More than that, he was tempted to applaud her for the fact that she didn't look like the hell she had gone through in the past few days.

Her shoulders were squared, her chin tipped up haughtily… but it was unlike the manner she appeared six years ago when they last spoke.
