Qiao Qing answered, "No reason."

Luo Chen knew right away that Qiao Qing had good reasons not to tell him, so he didn't dare to ask further. 

Instead, he checked the time, looked over to Lin Xiyan, then finally said to Qiao Qing, "It's almost 12 am. That means the campus residents are closed. Where's she going to stay tonight? The hotel? The Qi residence? Or my house?"

Lin Xiyan said, "I don't want to cause trouble. I'll stay at the ho-"

"Come with me." Qiao Qing patted Lin Xiyan's head. Her voice was gentle but her tone was unquestionably indisputable, "It's not safe for a girl to stay at a hotel by herself. Come stay with me tonight."

Lin Xiyan's tiny face reddened, "Would it be convenient?"

Qiao Qing wasn't someone who enjoyed troubling others. Though Qi Yusen and her may be related by blood, she didn't feel great about asking him for favors. 

She thought about it and said, "We can share the room."
