Capítulo 3: true faces
The moment I said Ansel's name, I felt the noise of the bed move a little and saw Esther's expression freeze in panic.
I knew the wolf girl had something to do with Ansel, probably his wife. poor thing besides being born a mangy dog is a horn!
"How do you know about Ansel?" Esther asked in a tone of voice that showed panic.
I turned my head to the side and went to her placing my hand on the back of her neck and pulling her closer to me. she didn't react because she was still in shock and when her head came to me. I smiled and whispered
"I know a lot dear 'mother' I know you leave home every night, when Mikael goes to war. You only come back in the morning before my sisters wake up and I know you will see a dog named Ansel. how many of my siblings are Ansel's children?" I felt her body shudder and another noise came over the bed" now heal the wolf! why I'm not good at healing spells. but I'm good enough to collect and leak information and it would be terrible if the information got to Mikael"
"Are you threatening me?" she whispered in a strange tone as if she had been betrayed by someone she trusted.
"No, I'm just telling you that it would be terrible if Mikael found out that you go out to find a dog every night when Mikael isn't home" I whispered in her ear with a tone of sadness "I can't even imagine the atrocities he did would do with you"
"You… I thought you…" Esther started to speak, but I cut her off.
"You thought wrong, I don't want a war and if the dog dies here, we will be blamed for the death of the alpha's wife of a village of wolves" I whispered in her ear again, only this time with a more aggressive tone" I'm just protecting my siblings!"
Lie, I just wanted the dog to return to her village intact so there would be no dams for the attack she suffered in the village and now, I have the opportunity to have the dog causing a political crisis in the village of wolves
When I heal the dog I could weaken an enemy and still have Esther in my hand to manipulate the village since the horn called Mikael is in her hands and he is the village chief
"Ok, I'll heal her" Esther grumbled
"Great! heal her" I said moving away from Esther and making way for her
Esther walked over to the wolf and sat down beside her. she closed her eyes and began to chant a rather aggressive spell in her chant.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
The wolf started to scream desperately and her eyes were watering as she squirmed, but her wounds were slowly healing.
Smoke started to rise from her wounds as Esther moved her hands and the dog screamed so loud my ears were starting to hurt and it didn't scare me.
I like to torture my enemies, but even I didn't get to the point that Esther was. She was smiling a cruel smile as she ran her hands over the wolf's wounds and that was just her neck and torso part.
She hasn't even gone through the leg yet and to my surprise, the wounds have closed and left with a burn scar.
"So her fatal wounds are already healed," Esther said looking at me hiding her smile "Now this wound here! She can heal by herself"
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
The dog screamed even louder as Esther dug her hand hard into her lacerated leg and black blood spurted on Esther's face. I could see her cruel smile and bright eyes of pleasure standing out as the blood slammed into her face.
I felt sickened by Esther's face. she was having fun for a reason I never would. I like to torture my enemies, but they are people who attack me directly.
Esther is attacking the dog over a man who was the dog's, to begin with. She's torturing the Dog because she wanted the Dog Man! How pathetic!
"Ok, you can go," I said going to her and taking her hand from the leg of the wolf who stopped screaming and started crying, curling up on my bed
"OK, but Finn remember I'm your mother!" Esther took my arm and I felt my arm burn and it hurt like hell. I had to use all my willpower not to cringe or scream "You obey me and not the other way around, there won't be another time you threaten me, got it ?"
I bit my lip, whatever, I don't need her help anymore"Got it"
"Well, have fun with her before you let her go" Esther spoke with a cold tone "she deserves it!"
Go to hell, did this woman just tell me to rape the dog? No, thanks, even I have my principles! Now I saw where I got this desire to destroy everything. Thank you, Esther, for giving me such a miserable inheritance
I touched my arm and I swore I'd come back
So I looked at the crying dog and when she saw me she went back to the submissive position "Don't worry, I won't touch you"
