Capítulo 27: CHAPTER 23: JESSICA(1)
(A few minutes before the Drago and Apollo's confrontation)....
"Mmm, first a dragon, now a snake with a Hydra's bloodline, at this rate we'll really have to amp up the people's powers if they're to go out hunting alone, because should they encounter any such creatures they'd be dead completely" Drago spoke thoughtfully as he stared at the massive hundred meter long 3-headed snake glaring and hissing angrily at him..

Before he could seal his abilities to start fighting
*BOOOM*
An explosion, followed by a terrifying aura erupted a few miles out..
Narrowing his eyes in that direction "this aura.. it's Apollo".."no, he's stronger, MUCH stronger"..
His eyes glittering strangely, he looked at the snake and whispered 'well I can't play with you now, so just die'

Following his command, a magnificent golden sword dropped from the sky and effortlessly impaled the massive beast, effectively ending it's life.
Grabbing the beast by it's tail, he swiftly left towards the source of the explosions and auras clashing.
Arriving and seeing the state Apollo was in, Drago stopped and watched with interest.
Seeing his brother overpower such a strong creature, a hint of pride and satisfaction shone in his eyes..
As he watched Apollo finally devour his enemy, he waited, and seeing that he was done,
*Clap, clap, clap*.. he started clapping..
"Since when had you been there" Apollo asked..
"Since your transformation" he replied in amusement....

(Back to the present)
Seeing his own brother quivering in fear and horror with his face lowered, a flash of guilt shone in Drago's eyes before he withdrew his aura.
"I am sorry" he apologized as he watched Apollo revert slowly to his human form, "I didn't mean to cause you such humiliation and shame" he spoke downcast.
This part of him was probably the part he disliked the most about himself..
For the past weeks, following the arrival of the three sisters, he has become more easygoing, his brothers became more free around him and didn't treat him like some monster to tread carefully around.
It became an enjoyable thing and he loved the free flowing atmosphere..
But whenever his authority is challenged, whenever he feels undermined, it doesn't matter who, it doesn't matter for what reason, it's like a switch gets flipped and some other personality takes over.
Thus he does, and says things that might hurt the ones he's starting to care about.
Normally he wouldn't care, but after finding emotions and a tinge of happiness, it became a feeling he did not want to lose.
Perhaps the only one currently who could do, say, and undermine Drago however she likes without him getting annoyed might be Jessica herself.
"It is alright, I should have put my words in a more spoken manner" Apollo replied as he took Drago's hand and stood up, patting the dust of his body he asked, curiously staring at the massive carcass Drago dragged along.
"What's that? I can feel it's bloodline aura to be quite strong"
"It's a snake with a hydra bloodline" Drago replied "what, you like it?" He asked with raised brows..
"Well devouring regulus made me realize I can get stronger by consuming strong bloodlines on par with, preferably ones slightly on par with mine or higher, so I'm just curious if I'll receive any improvement " Apollo replied honestly.
Placing his hands on his chin thoughtfully, Drago gestured towards the void, and the massive 300 meter long body of the red dragon long chi appeared out of his pocket space..
Seeing the massive dragon appearing in front of him, Apollo was shocked.
"Where did you find a dragon!?" He asked incredulously..
"Well, I sensed a powerful a few hundred miles from here and went to check it then boom, a dragon popped out" Drago replied nonchalantly..
Listening to his brother's reply, Apollo's eyelids twitched at the nonchalance in his voice..
"If you want to devour something, you try this, although after I killed I seemed to have absorbed everything for myself, so it might only be a bag of meat at this point, even that snake is the same, but you can try with this just to be sure" Drago continued..
Hearing his brother's words, Apollo's eyes shone, and immediately he activated his devouring skill and devoured the entire body of the beast..
DING!!
{YOU HAVE DEVOURED RED DRAGON LONG CHI, NO ESSENCE OF BLOOD DETECTED, FLESH AND BLOOD HAS BEEN STRENGTHENED SLIGHTLY}
Was all he heard afterwards.
Shaking his head, he looked at Drago with a bit of disappointment, "it seems you're right, it was useless to me, and we just wasted what could have given the normies on our side a significant boost" he shook his head again..
"Water under the bridge, we can just hunt a little bit more before returning back and see how everything is going" Drago shrugged off Apollo's complaints..
"Haaa...I guess you're right, it's already getting late, and tho I don't mind staying out late, I'd rather stay in a comfortable bed more" he chuckled..
"I just hope they've gotten rid of that ridiculous moniker by the time I get back" Drago growled..
"Pfft...hahahahaha" Apollo couldn't help but chuckle lightly..
"And what's so funny" Drago glared at him..
"Ha..no..nothing..haha..I'm just imagining the scolding you'll be in for when sister-in-law starts complaining about the hard work you gave her" Apollo uttered in-between laughs..
Shaking his head bitterly, Drago commented "she's supposed to work hard, they are all supposed to be my maids no, I don't know what trouble I got into... Me, the all powerful Drago, can't defeat three women.. sigh.. how the mighty have fallen" Drago commented with a downcast look like someone who had gone through so much tribulations in life only to end up alone and sad..
"Pfftt.." seeing the look on the face that was overbearing a moment, now looking like a perforated balloon, Apollo tried so hard to hold his laughter back, but,
"PFFTHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH" he couldn't, and exploded in roaring laughter, rolling on the floor like he'd heard or seen the funniest look ever..
Shaking off the troubling thoughts of the fight awaiting him at home, a fight he's only ever won once which was when he first met them, but has lost consistently ever since, "let's get moving, the sooner we move, the faster we can get everything done and get home" Drago said, bringing back Apollo from his fit of laughter..
"Mmm" wiping the tears from the corners of his eyes, still maintaining the cheeky grin on his face, Apollo nodded..
Shaking his head one more time, Drago moved the snake into his pocket space before taking off into the sky, swiftly followed by Apollo as the headed towards they next zone closest to the perimeter they set for the first city..
