"Who are you to marry my daughter without my permission?" Shi Yan asked calmly while standing before me, looking me deeply into my eyes, easily seeing past my blindfold.
"Who are you to question me?" I asked with a curious look, making Shi Yan's eyes narrow. Helian Xun's eyes widened seeing the event that was about to happen. She quickly moved, grabbing her dad's hands, but Shi Yan ignored her and glared at me, his pressure slowly pressing down upon me.
"The God Of Slaughter, A True God." Shi Yan said, making me look at him in confusion.
"What's so good about a True God?" I asked, to which Shi Yan smirked in disdain. What was the title Supreme? It was for the highest realm of cultivation under the heaven. The Supreme God of this heaven couldn't rival the Supreme God within the complete heaven,
Yes, the name for their realms remained the same, and yes the meaning of their realm remained the same... but the quality and strength behind said realm? It was completely different.
This heaven was slowly growing, and maybe one day it would rival the complete heavens, but until then, it was lacking behind the complete heavens.
"In the complete heavens, A true God reaches billions of levels of Infinity. Not like this 20th level of infinity which the true gods are in this broken incomplete heavens." Shi Yan said to which I nodded slightly,
"Sounds nice... So now what?" I asked with a curious look, making a vein grow on Shi Yan's forehead.
"You're not worthy of being my son-in-law." Shi Yan said coldly while the air of slaughter spread out. The heavens suddenly moved and channeled by Xiao Lingxi, she appeared, trying to contain the air of slaughter.
"Oh?" Shi Yan was caught off guard seeing Xiao Lingxi's power. Someone so weak was able to fully control the power of the heavens, and even bring out more than 100% of the heavens might.
He reached out, and the might of the heavens which was spread out, suddenly gathered, focusing fully before his palm, while he easily crushed it.
"While other true gods have reached the billions of level of infinity... I stepped past it, reaching the trillionth level of infinity, rivaling the might of a Supreme God." Shi Yan said lightly while looking at Xiao Lingxi, who stood there frozen in shock.
"I'm not here to deal with you... as my daughter's friend, I will overlook this... as for you," Shi Yan said while turning back towards me, just to see me looking back at him with a sneer.
"Who said anything about me being your son-in-law? You think highly of yourself... you ask me if I'm worthy of being your son-in-law. Let me reverse that question back onto you... are you worthy of being my in-law?" I asked, causing the already uneasy air to freeze. Slowly, Xia Qingyue who had yet to step out showed herself in her wedding dress, realizing that she might die today because of the fool she wanted to marry.
To say the least, Xia Qingyue's appearance shocked Yun Che who didn't know she was getting married. But that wasn't important right now, as he had no choice but to join everyone who was getting ready to fight Shi Yan.
Shi Yan stood there, shocked that an ant would speak to him in such a way. He knew of my capability and had already seen my past... but still, there was a huge difference in capability right now, he expected me to show him some respect... but did that matter right now to me?
Shi Yan snorted before sending the aura of slaughter towards me. The power to slaughter it all, on a level never seen before, although its quality wasn't equal to Helian Xun, its power was something else.
I was sent rocketing away, leaving Shi Yan shocked that his killing intent didn't kill me, and instead sent me flying away. I appeared within the immortal realm, without my blindfold.
I took deep breaths, easing my mind, and erasing unwanted thoughts... today, I shall go all out... no, I shall go past my best. Today, I will see just what my limits are.
Shi Yan appeared before me, his fist shooting toward me, and my fist moved, clashing with his fist. Infused with 100% of my willpower, intent, and channeling everything. My Fist instantly disappeared, unable to handle the power infused into it, but to Shi Yan's shock, our clash was at a standstill. We were equals, yes he was holding back... but Shi Yan was a True God, and I wasn't.
"So beautiful, this feeling of throwing everything at someone..." I said with a high look, it had been so long that I forgot when I started holding back just to enjoy the fight. But that didn't matter right now, it was time to have fun!
"Weak!" Shi Yan roared while reaching toward me, but I moved, clashing with him once more. Shi Yan's eyes widened seeing how fast I had regrown my hand... he had missed it, but my healing speed was reaching a level where I healed faster than I got injured... meaning, my healing speed was traveling backward through time as well.
Shi Yan noticed this, and began to get serious as he also noticed that as soon as the battle began, I began to grow stronger... well, I wasn't growing stronger, it's just that my willpower which had been suppressed for years was free to act, and I was slowly getting the hang of controlling it.
The Power of slaughtered gathered at full might, the power of slaughtered slammed upon my will, and almost instantly I found my willpower being overwhelmed. I was sent rocketing away... no, I wasn't sent rocketing away. On instinct, to survive, I had shot backward, and this led to the scene of me being launched outside of creation. Sadly, this heaven wasn't big enough for me to fight all out, with such a small amount of space to use, while facing someone many times stronger than me... well, I would lose.
'I lost... so fast at that?' I thought while feeling nothingness breaking me apart, slowly returning me to nothingness. Not zero, for zero, was something. But Nothingness is a state in which even zero couldn't exist.
I channeled all of my energy to resist this, but when even a Supreme God from the complete heavens couldn't last too long in nothingness... what about me?
Seeing as I was going to return to Nothingness, I began to start panicking, my mind racing with what I could do. My life flashed before my eyes, everything from my past life on earth to now, it all flashed by, but I had no way to survive this... I was going to return to the nothingness I came from... but was nothingness worthy?
I gritted my teeth while my eyes began bleeding nonstop, I clapped my hands together while channeling every last drop of energy I had.
"To Stand At the Peak, I Need the Willpower to be There!" I roared while channeling my law. To stand at that peak, one needs the willpower to do so... this was something I fully believed in, for the peak of the mountain was a cold lonely place. If you can't endure it, don't attempt it.
I will admit it, in the past, I didn't have the willpower needed, I was weak... but now I have come to accept the fact that I don't belong anywhere but the highest of mountains, for I had Limitless Potential.
Nothingness? It could suck my... wait, it wasn't worthy. For I Wu Xian, Was The Honored One. I belonged at that peak, I was just trying to return home... so why was this nonsense getting in my way?
My willpower exploded outwards within Nothingness, shaking Nothingness. It was a slight shake, like a ripple in the ocean, but that ripple shook many powerful experts, be those within the complete heavens or those elsewhere within Nothingness.
My willpower moved, acting as the power source needed to power my law. My ever-growing law seemed to suddenly grow in power as my mind raced. It has been a long time since I used my law, and using it once more made me realize something.
"I don't need a Dao, for the law of Limitless is Limitless. No matter the scale of infinity, level of infinite, or nonsense... the law of Limitless shall remain Limitless, otherwise, it isn't limitless." I said with a grin,
"What a freak..." Shi Yan said lightly while looking at me, he slowly pulled back his outstretched hand and just looked at me, before turning to look at his daughter who was giving off an uncontrollable air of slaughter about her.
"Don't worry, I just wanted to test his growth capability out a little. I also wanted to see how he would grow when facing something hopeless like Nothingness, I was about to save him, but he didn't disappoint... this boy is a paradox, almost like a glitch which shouldn't exist." Shi Yan said while looking at me, and also sensing the law of Limitless, which was slowly touching upon the level of his Dao of the God Of Slaughter.
"What do you mean?" Helian Xun asked with a frown, calming down a bit.
"Everything has rules it follows. Even nothingness. Nothingness acts like a recycling bin, everything returns to nothingness, just to be spat out as new. In a way, nothing you see is new, long ago it was something else. The dirt long ago might have been a supreme god who returned to nothingness, and maybe the dirt will return to nothingness just to come back as a being fated to be a Supreme God... what I am trying to say is that nothing is unique." Shi Yan said calmly while looking out into Nothingness.
"Only Nothingness is a one-of-a-kind, something unique. Everything else was once something else, and will one day be something else. We will never exist forever, for Nothingness is waiting for us... he, on the other hand, is unique. His law is breaking all limits, and is growing, truly becoming limitless. If it had a limit, then it would lose its title of Limitless. If it is limited to Nothingness? It just grew to have no such limits. Fueled by his willpower, intents, and technique, he is truly limitless." Shi Yan said in shock, seeing how nothingness couldn't reach me.
