Capítulo 8: Revenge
My favorite: none. No winners
Too overboard sometimes, too dragged out at others. I love some face slapping, but it's usually indulgence. I've read most novels tagged second chance or revenge, and while I like them overall I feel they fail to paint the antagonist realistically.
"You shouldn't exist, everyone hates you" - Antagonist1
"Why are you even trying, ML isn't going to like your ugly face you poor slag" - Antagonist2
* Walks in holding hands with ML*
"Who's talking trash about my beautiful flower? Oh it's you Antagonist1 and Antagonist2, how dare you? You shouldn't even be here because your families company is literally collapsing, your funds are frozen, and your parents are arrested right now and being processed under charges of embezzlement and treason" - ML
"Had eyes but couldn't see Mt. Tai" - Passerby1
"Don't you think the MC and ML look like beautiful gods together, I'd sale my kidney for a chance with a goddess like that" - Passerby2
This is my example of overboard and not realistic characters. This scenario is unique, but you might find it familiar because it exists in one form or another in almost every revenge type novel I've read.
