As Shiro draws his sword, confronting his mentor, an immense and at the same time sharp pressure descends upon the entire village, alerting everyone.
His mentor, however, ignored the pressure as if it were nothing.
Shiro smiled and so was the old man.
Both swordsmen disappeared in sight, they left behind a trail of sparks caused by their exchange appearing now and then making spectators awe.
The battle quickly becomes a clash of techniques and sword mastery.
Shiro performs a relentless yet elegant swords strikes and slashes combined with a self-taught martial arts technique he had created using "Insight" that perfectly fitted with his sword style putting his mentor to the test of whether the old "Sword Saint" could keep up to the rise of the new gen.
One must take note that Shiro had completely nullified the effects of his skills relying solely on his innate prowess.
Shiro's speed, strength, and dexterity despite relying solely on his based state had unprecedented levels bypassing his innate limits to the point that the old man was forced in a defensive position just to keep up.
Shiro's dull one edge sword forge by nameless "Kurobe" mainly used for mock battles appeared before the old man's forehead marking the conclusion of the duel.
Or so it should have been.
It was at that moment before Shiro's sword could reach the old man.
The latter reacted so fast performing a strange and unorthodox sword technique and martial movement that is hard to follow and predict.
Time seemed to have slowed down.
Shiro could have sworn he saw the old man giving him a toothy grin.
The sword technique Hakuro had pulled off is a nameless one he had devised and come up a few days ago to caught his monster of a disciple off guard.
Nameless "Hakuro" had regretted showing all his cards to Shiro in the first week they began their sword training.
He hadn't expected his student to be able to just copy all the techniques he had shown, and performed those techniques with the same mastery and proficiency.
Just the mere thought was absurd.
But such an absurdity is right before his eyes following his footsteps just like any other student as a teacher nameless "Hakuro" was overjoyed to have such an absurdity as a student, but his pride as a swordsman wouldn't let him sit tight, and so "Hakuro" decided to do something just as absurd.
He had created a new sword technique to counter his disciple's absurd analytical prowess.
Nameless Sword Art – False Blade
Nevertheless-
Shiro's innate accelerated thought process allowed him to anticipate his mentor's attacks at the last moment when it was the most vulnerable despite its unpredictable nature with precision and react swiftly maintaining the upper hand of the battle.
"I couldn't hope for a far more better disciple." His mentor said, pride and joy is all Shiro could sense coming from his mentor.
He smiled, responding to his mentors words.
He also showed his very own sword technique forged by his "Insight" skill.
Silent Sword Art – Gentle Tempest
The harmony of his sword and body resonates more intensely, becoming one reaching a perfect synchrony between the wielder and the sword.
Hakuro dodged the attack but the following aftershock caused so much devastation leaving behind a massive crater and creating a strong enough shockwave to completely blow all the trees and the vicinity.
Blood dripped out of Hakuro's ears.
It was as if a bomb were dropped right before their eyes.
A brief moment of silence passed.
And in the brief moment of distraction Shiro's sword stops just an inch away from his mentor's neck.
'I won.' Shiro said to his mentor using thought communication.
"Yes. It's my lost." He gave Shiro a satisfied smile.
Shiro placed his hand on his mentor's ear and healed him.
He had used "Restoration" on his mentor a Art of his Unique Skill - Novelty.
The dust settled.
The onlookers jaws dropped at the sight of a massive crater behind Hakuro.
They couldn't help but imagine what would have happened if that attack hit him.
The mere thought gave them the chills.
Shiro's sword technique containing so much destructive force was nothing but a distraction.
In the first place Shiro didn't intend to hit his mentor with such an attack because it will definitely leave him heavily injured and Shiro has no plans of going as far as to harm his mentor.
What Shiro did was guide the essence of the wind element through his sword and harness its force.
Shiro's naming sense was misleading.
That wasn't a gentle attack at all.
It was a sonic attack, a concentrated beam of wind and sound.
[Notice: Extra Skill – Wind Manipulation has been acquired.]
Hearing the familiar voice of his skill Shiro's smiled wryly.
…
I returned to my room the night after dinner.
As I arrived in front of my room I stopped on my tracks raising my eyebrows.
I sensed a familiar presence inside.
Looking at the side corridor I also notice the Ogre Chief giving me a deadly glare.
A faint killing intent coming from him.
Wtf did I do?
Seeing my baffled expression the latter panicked and hurriedly left the scene.
!!?
Shrugging the back of my head I went inside my room.
What greeted me, however, petrified me.
A completely naked "Shuna" was atop my bed.
Ugh!
I now realize why the Ogre Chief is angry about me.
If put in the same situation I would have skinned myself.
"Princess!" Shiro surprise voice was immediately noticed by "Shuna" who was looking at the window outside.
Seeing Shiro she started fidgeting, and a red hue ran across not just her face but her entire body.
She was embarrassed.
"Um!" She didn't know what to say.
Earlier in the morning she asked the adult women in the village on the best way to express one's emotions to someone they love.
The majority had told her: "Present your most vulnerable state to the one you love, it is a miracle if he can resist your charm." They said, giggling, giving her a knowing smile.
Following their advice led to this situation.
Shiro who read her thoughts and emotions through "Empathy" placed his right hand on his forehead, two of his fingers rubbing it, feeling a slight headache.
Shiro was trapped between a rock and a hard place.
If he were to deny her love at this point she'll be devastated and the Ogre Chief would definitely kill him.
If he did accept her love, he would still need to leave her behind and the Ogre Chief would still kill him.
Ugh!
As if sensing the trouble she had caused Shiro, Shuna's meek voice rang onto his ears snapping him out of his thoughts. "My Lord, no- Shiro! Don't worry, whatever your final decision is, I will accept it, I know I'm being selfish and forceful, but please, at least this once, kindly accept my feelings."
"To be honest, princess you're my type and in the past days I have always know about your feelings for me and I have developed my own feelings towards you albeit not as great as yours, unfortunately, there are a lot of things in my mind right now." Shiro paused, looking straight into her eyes.
"Even so, you should have known that I'm a man and I cannot call myself a man if I were to push you away after presenting yourself to me." A cheeky grin crept on his face before appearing a second later hugging her from behind.
He had used Instantaneous Movement.
His fingers gently crawl on her soft and delicate skin.
Shuna's heart risen-
