Resumen
The holy knight Carmen never questioned his beliefs, even while he laid dying at the hands of a vampire. But death would not be the end for him. When Carmen next woke up, he found himself "alive" once again in the body of an animated corpse—a zombie—that was forced to slave away in the mines of a human kingdom.
As a proud, former knight, Carmen could not allow this wretched practice to continue. He must find a way to escape, regain his body and status, and uncover the truth.
The world was not as it seemed, and perhaps he—now a she—had lived a life of lies.

Escribe una reseñaLoving this story! The plot is cool and the characters are well done. Very interested in seeing where the story goes from here and how Camila grows into her new life as a vampire.
This novel so far is a great example of "Show don't Tell." The imagery, depictions, and dialogue all show who the characters are and develop them properly. The characters for once are rational, make informed judgements, and feel realistic interacting with the world around them. Every little detail explores this unique fantasy world and reinforces the fantasy realism. There is no Mary Sue, no nonsensical characters, and the story has a solid development that allows for focus on character development. The writing is in personal opinion, little to no error and fantastic. The language effectively carries the point and purpose of description and does not use flowery language to overly complicate the writing. It is easy to understand, straightforward, but also effectively written in conveying the point. The writing even changes to suit different characters at chapters which really helps the characterization. In this way, the world and story follows the characters, not the character trying to fit into the story and its world. The world is shown through interactions, dialogue, and depictions with little to no info dump which is a great way to engage readers as well as not overwhelm the reader with information. The story and characters feel so grounded and their designs are rather unique which ties in seamlessly with the lore of their world. I am too lazy to try to quote everything to support all my claims and statements but do know I am a real critical reader when it comes down to character development, consistency, world building, and flow and I have not found a solid crack in their armor yet. Does this mean the story is flawless? By all means no, but is a great work of novel so far in my opinion? Definitely yes and as a person writing their own novel (not posted anywhere yet), this is no small feat to accomplish. When the novel concludes I may give another more comprehensive and conclusive review. Thanks for writing such a novel author, I appreciate it.
Not what I was expecting it to be, but it's great, I got more engrossed with it than I thought I would be. I really recommend reading this novel, one of the best I have read in a while.
i just love this story, don't know why its not completed on webnovel but I managed to find a completed version and although there was a bitter sweet ending I still loved it

Really solid story. Good writing quality, very few grammar mistakes. I disliked some of the stuff, but overall it's good. Definitely better than 95% of the novels on this site.
